Black Cat are sponsors of this free 10 week summer music series as well as Sculpture on the Point at Diamond Harbour (Dec 16 - Feb 24). Live music every Sunday afternoon, 1-4pm (except 23 Dec). Catch the ferry over to Diamond Harbour from Lyttelton.

Our biggest efforts go into trying to prevent this awful image. We are active in lobbying government to extend the set net bans around Banks Peninsula. And we tell the dolphin story to all our customers creating thousands of advocates.

We support research on Hectors dolphins by carrying students on our boats and daily reporting of dolphin numbers and behaviour in the harbour.

We have been involved in trapping stoats, rats, cats and ferritts from under the cliffs in Akaroa to protect penguins. We have put this on hold due to the recent aftershocks but hope to get going again soon.
