Nothing brings me greater joy than teaching my 3 and 1/2yo daughter. Today's class was on endangered animals. No farther than 60 kms, as the crow flies, from where we live we have these beautiful creatures. Creatures that my daughter will be unlikely to find when she's my age. Here's a challenge: Find out why? Find out what you can do to help endangered species? And most importantly, introduce your kids to these organisms, allow them to marvel at the world and its inhabitants and allow them to learn as much as possible about nature so that they build the sense to save what they can. Find out what you have near you; I bet you don't have to go that far...
